KFV offers a wide range of high-quality mortise door locks in classes 1 to 4 as per DIN 18251, and therefore can provide the right lock solution for every door with varying use frequency and security requirements, from private rooms to public buildings.
Of course, KFV mortise locks are also available for rebated doors or butted doors that close using lever locks, bathroom knobs or cylinders. They are also suitable for both original door fittings and for simple retrofitting.

The classes

Class 1:

For doors which are opened infrequently and carefully – for example, doors for storerooms

Class 2:

For doors that are opened regularly and with care – for example office doors

Class 3:

For doors that are opened frequently and with great force at times – for example doors in public buildings.

Class 4:

For doors that are open very frequently and sometimes roughly – for example doors with increased anti-intruder protection and doors in public buildings
